Moose Knuckles Adventure Race

The race, which involves trekking, biking, canoeing, and a mystery challenge, will take between 8 to 10 hours depending on rate of travel and decision making. Teams of two to four people (teams may be all male, all female or co-ed; no solo racers) will travel together throughout the race. Each team will navigate to checkpoints (CP) and punch team passports to confirm completion. Some checkpoints will be optional so that all teams have a chance to finish. Only maps supplied by race organizers are permitted. Each team will receive a 1:50000 topographical map. Knowledge of how to take a bearing with a compass is mandatory. Each team will also receive a set of written instructions to aid in getting from one CP to the next. GPS is not allowed. Visit the website for complete race details, registration information and start time.
