Birch Island Provincial Park
In 2011, Birch Island became Manitoba’s 84th provincial park. The island is home to a variety of wildlife including bears, moose, wolves, lynx, hares, and deer, and many birds including terns, ducks, herons, gulls and pelicans. It is managed as a non-operational park.
